Shared Risk & Protective Factors Conference

Data from the Colorado Violent Death Reporting System and Colorado's Child Fatality Prevention System (CFPS) indicate that deaths by suicide among Colorado's youth are a growing problem in our state. The Office of Suicide Prevention (OSP) and CFPS work in tandem to support community and regional efforts to mitigate shared risk factors and promote shared protective factors to prevent youth deaths by suicide across the state. Through leveraging partnerships and shared funding opportunities OSP and CFPS support implementation of evidence-based prevention strategies to ensure that Colorado’s youth live happy and healthy lives.
